Jill M. Anderson
Jill Anderson earned her Bachelor’s Degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Northern Iowa, and her Juris Doctorate from Drake University, where she was a Public Service Scholar.
Jill practices exclusively in the area of divorce and family law. She has helped clients with a wide range of family issues, including custody, child support, property valuation and division, spousal maintenance, domestic abuse, step-parent adoption and paternity matters.
As a former social worker, Jill provided counseling and in-home services to families in need. Her work required extensive involvement in the juvenile court system and collaboration with attorneys, judges and Guardian ad Litems to determine what actions would serve the best interests of at-risk children.
She has served as a volunteer family law attorney with Judicare of Anoka County, Legal Assistance of Washington County and as a Guardian ad Litem in Hennepin County.
Jill lives with her husband Matt, a medical device engineer, in Blaine. They welcomed their second child in May of 2016. She spends much of her free time traveling back to Iowa to spend time with her extended family.
